Sophomores Demanding Attention Every Time They Step on the Floor

This sophomore class is not waiting their turn. The 2028 group continues to make a strong impact with confident play, expanding skill sets, and the ability to influence matches in multiple ways. From high-level ball control to strong swings and steady decision-making, these athletes are showing they can handle bigger roles and tougher moments. Every time they step on the floor, they are making it harder to ignore their presence.    Adison has been playing on the right side and does a great job scoring with the line shot and high hands. She is aggressive at the net defensively and can attack tough from either pin. Comfortable attacking from either pin, she gives her team flexibility and is the type of player you can plug in and trust to produce.   --Kantessa Bryant-Miller @prepdignv     Kadyn is a power outside who brings an aggressive swing every time she attacks. Normally an outside, she stepped into the middle at a recent tournament and racked up blocks, showing her versatility and team-first mindset. She wants to be on the court, will do whatever her team needs, and plays with a physical, assertive presence at the net.   --Kantessa Bryant-Miller @prepdignv     Mckenzy is a relentless defender with strong serve receive and unmatched hustle. She will track a ball all the way to the sideline and refuses to let anything drop near her if she can help it. She also brings value from the service line and backs up her game with extra work in plyos and the weight room, continuously growing her speed and range on defense.   --Kantessa Bryant-Miller @prepdignv     Sydney is a physical pin who transitions fast and finishes plays with a heavy arm, and she's coming off a 4A state championship season with Sierra Vista. She gets on top of the ball with a quick wrist snap, can bust through blocks, and finds open seams for bounce kills. On defense she reacts quickly off block touches and helps keep balls from hitting the floor, making her a factor on both sides of the net.   --Kantessa Bryant-Miller @prepdignv     Reagan is a smooth, technical setter who makes life easier for her hitters. Her form is clean, she stays consistent with her delivery, and she runs an efficient offense. In the front row she competes at the net, can block, and is always a threat to put away an overpass. She hustles to every ball, no matter where the pass takes her, and uses great technique to deliver hittable sets. She plays ahead of her age, shows strong court awareness, and would not look out of place playing up.
