The first weekend of 2026 boasts one of the biggest tournaments in Oklahoma. While most goal-driven players might focus their New Year's Resolutions on stats and execution, some players made positivity their 2026 mission. These five athletes stood out among the hundreds of volleyball players in the gym on Saturday because of their supportive and positive vibes. Posting up a huge block that forces hitters into errors and a variety of swings are just part of Stella's repertoire. She plays defense first and transitions quickly, using the block to score. After an error, Stella assessed, checked in with her coach, and gracefully moved on, scoring three subsequent kills off the blocker's hands. While many players focus on errors, Stella's positivity and perseverance inspire her team to push through.     High fives all around from [player_tooltip player_id='739531' first='Mia' last='Guerrero']! She is a strong passer who posted three point passes, giving her setter lots of options. But what makes Mia stand out is how she checks in with her teammates between each rally. She makes sure they are on the same page and ready to tackle the next point. Mia is definitely someone you want on your team.     Sydney Whitmill executed a standout setting performance this weekend. Her court awareness and setting IQ make handling out-of-system balls with precision look easy. Regardless of what happens during a rally, Sydney is quick to dole out the high-fives and connect with her teammates after each point. Sydney is a solid teammate and a player to watch!     Alexiah Campbell is a libero who commands the back row with confidence. Her communication supports her teammates and she talks clearly on the court. She passes solid serve receive balls under pressure and sets the tone for the team with both her skills and her steady leadership.     Kaitlyn Johnson plays whistle to whistle. She serves a tough standing float and plays a hustle defense that keeps the opposing hitters frustrated. She ran through a ball in the corner of the court that should have been an easy kill. She motivates her team when they are down in the score. Her incredible pursuit, motivating personality, and efficient communication make her a teammate to envy!
