Day One made it clear that the teams running efficient, disciplined offenses were led by setters who understood tempo, location, and match flow. From pushing quick tempo in-system to making smart decisions out-of-system, these athletes dictated pace and forced blockers to move laterally all day long. Their ability to vary release points, establish the middle early, and create one-on-one matchups changed the look of entire sets.   So who truly controlled the tempo in 15s? She established the middle early, forcing blockers to honor the quick ball, which opened the pins throughout the day. Her release is compact and quick, and she does a strong job squaring her shoulders to target before delivering, even when pushed off the net.   Out of system, Wiech remained composed. She delivered hittable balls from multiple platform angles and didn't rush decisions in tight rallies. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas   What to expect on the final day: Continued emphasis on tempo through the middle and confident distribution in high-pressure sets. Her sets were clean to the pins, consistently landing in the same window, allowing hitters to stay aggressive. She did a nice job stretching the block laterally by alternating tempo and using the backside effectively.   Overmohle also showed strong defensive instincts, transitioning quickly from base into setting position. Sammi Cornelius played with confidence and visible command. She communicated well with her hitters and wasn't hesitant to call for tempo adjustments mid-match. Her footwork into the ball was efficient, allowing her to set square and deliver consistent ball height to both antennas.   Cornelius showed growth in out-of-system scenarios, delivering high, hittable balls instead of forcing risky plays. Luella Craig brought rhythm to her offense. Her hands are soft and controlled, and she does a strong job disguising direction until late in her release. She ran a quicker tempo to the outside when in-system and showed patience when plays broke down.   Craig's ability to reset and re-establish offensive structure after scramble plays stood out. Brelyn Jackson played with energy and pace. She transitions quickly from defense into setting position and gets her feet to the ball early, which allows her to stay balanced through contact. Her sets to the right side were especially consistent, keeping attackers in rhythm.   Jackson showed good awareness of block matchups and made subtle distribution adjustments throughout the day.
