Live from Red Top Rally: Setters Commanding the Floor at SRVA

With Georgia weather finally cooperating and clubs back in the gym, the 2026 Red Top Rally brought out grinders, learners, and competitors hungry to grow. This isn't the flashy college-recruitment tier — this is the developmental grind. And that's exactly why these setters deserve recognition. They are organizing chaos, managing young offenses, and learning to run systems under pressure.   Here are five setters who stood out this weekend.    Estelle brings energy and movement to the court. She hustles for second balls and works hard to create hittable opportunities out of broken plays. Her effort level is noticeable, and she communicates consistently with her attackers. The more she sharpens her location and tempo, the more dangerous this group becomes. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Emersyn shows poise beyond the chaos of a developmental event. She handles serve-receive breakdowns calmly and resets her offense quickly. Her hands are clean, and she sets a hittable ball consistently to the antenna. As she continues building chemistry with her middles, she could become a true offensive catalyst. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Elisa competes. Even in tough pool play, she keeps her composure and continues distributing with intent. She shows good body control when setting off the net and isn't afraid to push tempo to her pins. As her connection with hitters tightens, she'll elevate this offense significantly. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Abigail is steady and composed in transition. She makes clean decisions off imperfect passes and shows a strong understanding of tempo for this level. Her hands are consistent, and she doesn't rush the offense even when rallies extend. As her offensive vision continues to grow, she has the tools to become a true system leader. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Bristol runs a balanced offense and shows flashes of strong court awareness. She doesn't lock in on one option — she spreads the ball and keeps blockers honest. Her footwork is improving, and she's learning how to set with stability under pressure.
