<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The club volleyball season continues to progress at full pace in the country, and every weekend, dozens of tournaments of all levels are held in the state of Texas. Prep Dig continues to follow many of them, attending events and tracking down the most exciting young players in the Lone Star State.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Saturday, January 31, we made it to the recently renovated facilities of the [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'] club, which hosted the Skyline Classic #5. Her distribution was very consistent and reliable, keeping the team's offense in a good rhythm. Whitman did a good job of using her middles as much as she could and showed good variation with her sets, keeping opposing blockers under constant pressure. A playmaker with firm hands, she did a very good job with her distribution, standing out for her ability to deliver accurate shoot sets at the pin. Briscoe demonstrated a solid all-around game and also produced well on the back row, setting and playing defense at a good level. A tall setter, she moved well on the court and did a good job of tracking passes off the net and remaining accurate with her locations. Sloan was creative with her playmaking, intelligently moving her hitters around, and was precise when setting against the flow of play. A high-energy player, she thrived with her distribution, consistently feeding her middle, who were the players with the most offensive potential in the team. Leonard also contributed in different areas of the game, doing well with her serving and defense and operating as a right side hitter on some occasions. She also had a big leadership role within the team, consistently communicating with her teammates and encouraging them.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
