Triple Crown has also become a notorious stomping ground for college coaches on the hunt for their next class of athletes.

In Kansas City, not only was there some incredible volleyball, but there were some amazing prospects on the docket to look at. Out of the Mitten state, specifically, there plenty of faces that could've caught some eyes with their play. It was a good weekend of representation for Michigan.

Now, we're just going to look at some of the uncommitted standouts from the 2026 and 2027 classes. These are the athletes that are readily available to pick up. All of the younger age groups will be looked at in a separate post! Let's take a look at some of the best uncommitted upperclassmen from Michigan at Triple Crown.

[player_tooltip player_id='446700' first='Liliana' last='Gegovic'] - Michigan Elite

It almost seems to be that you could throw [player_tooltip player_id='446700' first='Liliana' last='Gegovic'] just about anywhere on the court and she delivers. From setter, to the middle, Gegovic has been an electric presence as an opposite for Michigan Elite's 18 Mizuno. At Triple Crown, she was at peak performance. While a smaller attacker, Gegovic explodes off the ground and has an incredible range of shots up her sleeve.

[player_tooltip player_id='458372' first='Jeana' last='Lenhard'] - Michigan Elite

While 17 Mizuno continues to find their footing, [player_tooltip player_id='458372' first='Jeana' last='Lenhard'] finds herself as one of the main constants for her team. NIT saw this player really grow and flourish in a six rotation role, one that she's very familiar with but is becoming more and more trusted with on the big stages. Lenhard has a solid platform that allows her team to run in system. Whether her team is in or out of system, Lenhard was a reliable source for high point scoring and low error rate all weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='839826' first='Elise' last='Biermann'] - Michigan Elite

[player_tooltip player_id='839826' first='Elise' last='Biermann'] was absent all last club season, sidelined due to an ACL tear in the prior fall season. Now, back and continuing to find her groove as a hitter, one thing is for sure is that her ball control and defense did NOT miss a beat. If anything, it only vastly improved from her time studying the game from the side. While her attacking prowess returns, Biermann finds herself an undeniable presence on the court with her elevated back court skills.

[player_tooltip player_id='490372' first='Piper' last='Cebulski'] - FaR Out

FaR Out 18 Black was one of the best 18s teams you could find in the convention center this weekend. A huge part of that was the play of setter [player_tooltip player_id='490372' first='Piper' last='Cebulski']. At 6'2, she offers so much intangibles that you don't typically get from others in her position. While it wasn't used heavily due to FaR Out's system, Cebulski stood out greatly with her improved tempo and location. Her agility around the court is also incredibly better than what we've seen of her from a season ago.

[player_tooltip player_id='490369' first='Rylee' last='Stanley-Eldred'] - FaR Out

While this team consists of mostly last year's 18 Black and 16 Black roster, [player_tooltip player_id='490369' first='Rylee' last='Stanley-Eldred'] is a new face to the group. Acting as the main DS on the court, Stanley Eldred does a really strong job in the back court. The best DSs can compliment their libero and elevate the defensive range on the court. Stanley Eldred did just that, making it incredibly difficult for opponents to score on FaR Out 18 Black.

Brooklynn Brassard - FaR Out

I wasn't surprised to see Brooklynn Brassard have the weekend she had given what we saw from her in the fall. Brassard is one of those high flying undersized attackers with a heavy arm. She is a focal point to 17 Black's offense and showed just that in Kansas City. Brassard led her squad to a runner up finish in the aspire division.

[player_tooltip player_id='523841' first='Taylor' last='Frost'] - FaR Out

Right along Brassard, the one running the offense is none other than [player_tooltip player_id='523841' first='Taylor' last='Frost']. An athlete that really showed some serious upside in the fall season is continuing that trajectory here in the early goings of the club season. Frost is an athlete full of speed and grit. At the setter position, these attributes can really amp up any team's game.

Sophia Nepszy - Legacy

While this player may not be a pure Michigan product, Sophia Nepszy plays for Legacy by way of Canada. Nonetheless, Nepszy is becoming a standout with every tournament she competes on with 18-1s. As a younger setter in the 18's 6-2 system, you wouldn't be able tell because of how steady her game is. When things get tight in sets and Legacy is running out of subs, it is Nepszy they look to to lead the way to the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='450415' first='Leah' last='Green'] - Legacy

Get you a middle that can do it all. And by that I mean, get you a [player_tooltip player_id='450415' first='Leah' last='Green']. While at the net, Green is a speedy middle, closing blocks and scoring a lot of points. In the back court, she plays every rotation as a priority passer. That's how elite this player is at all skills on the court. While her 18-2s squad didn't have the best of outings, it wasn't without Green doing her absolute most to keep them in the games.

Aliyah Potapenko - Legacy

From one middle to another Aliyah Potapenko is the big gun in the center of the net for 17-2s. Her 6'3 frame and loads of physicality is something that truly changes the game for her squad. She is a player that fits right into the mold of this kind of high level tournament. Her block is stout to go through and her offense continues to become more terminal as she develops in the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='523847' first='Rory' last='O'Connell'] - Legacy

If you're looking for a go-to arm that is used to taking on a large workload on the court, [player_tooltip player_id='523847' first='Rory' last='O'Connell'] is your girl. Time and time again, through each six rotation, O'Connell is what keeps 17-2s trudging along with some of the best competition in the gym. She has a heavy arm and vast range of shots to her disposal.
