Middles Controlling the Net and Defensive Structure

ClubVT AAU Lucky Clover Invitational   Throughout the tournament, middle blockers played a major role in shaping the flow of play at the net. With offenses becoming more dynamic, middles were tasked with reading setters, closing seams, and remaining active in transition. Several players stood out for their ability to impact both blocking and offensive tempo. Their presence helped their teams maintain structure and apply pressure at the net.    Reagan shows good awareness at the net and moves well laterally to close blocks. She stays disciplined and helps maintain structure defensively. Her effort in transition keeps her relevant offensively. Reagan adds consistency to the middle. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Raewynn brings strong effort and stays active at the net throughout rallies. She works to stay connected with her pins and helps reinforce blocking structure. Her ability to remain engaged helps her team defensively. She tracks the setter well and helps close space against opposing hitters. Her consistency helps maintain defensive structure. She works to stay available offensively and helps balance the attack. Her defensive presence helps limit clean hitting angles. She tracks the play well and helps close blocking seams effectively. Her presence helps reinforce the team's front-row structure.
