Middles Creating Defensive Pressure at the Net – Sunshine Q

Sunshine Qualifier — Liberty Division   Net play became a major factor throughout Liberty Division matches at the Sunshine Qualifier as teams worked to control offensive tempo and close blocking seams. Middles were asked to read developing plays quickly, transition efficiently between blocking assignments, and contribute offensively when quick opportunities developed. Several middle blockers stood out for their ability to impact both sides of the ball while maintaining strong movement along the net.    Katelynn demonstrated strong awareness while reading opposing offenses and tracking the setter's distribution. She moved efficiently laterally along the net and worked to close blocking seams against pin attacks. Her timing when pressing over the net helped challenge opposing hitters. Katelynn remained active defensively throughout rallies. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Eden showed strong physical presence at the net and maintained good positioning while reading attacking sequences. She demonstrated disciplined blocking mechanics and worked to seal angles when closing blocks. Her ability to transition quickly into offensive situations helped maintain pressure at the net. Eden's movement and awareness were noticeable during extended rallies. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Ansley displayed strong effort when moving laterally to close blocks and remained engaged throughout defensive sequences. She demonstrated good positioning while tracking hitters and worked to challenge attacks across the net. Her presence helped reinforce the team's defensive structure. She tracked the setter effectively and moved well along the net to close blocking seams. Her timing when pressing over the net helped disrupt attacking angles.
