Nike Cross Court Classic: 15 Open Right Sides Who Did It All

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Houston area just had one of its busiest weekends in the club season, with the traditional Nike Cross Court Classic coming to town.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The gigantic tournament brought over 700 club teams from Texas and beyond, split into 30 divisions, to the George R Brown Convention Center, in downtown, for two days of intense and fast-paced action between Saturday and Sunday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong><a href="https://prepdig.com/2026/03/nike-cross-court-classic-15-open-division-photos/">Nike Cross Court Classic - 15 Open Division Photos</a></strong></li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Dig Texas was on-site on Sunday morning, when we got to check out the top eight teams in the 15 Open Division, which were playing elimination rounds after ranking first or second in their pools on Saturday. There was some serious talent on the court, and now we'll list the prospects who caught our eye with their strong play. She contributed a lot to their game, bringing good length and power for them at the net on the right. She made the most of her high contact point to score points, finding nice angles and putting great power into her swings. Despite not being very tall, she was one of their main scoring options over the weekend. Alexander has an impressive vertical and uses it to get very high up at the net before making contact with the ball. An excellent all-around player, she played multiple roles for the team, contributing in different areas of the game. Owens set when she was on the back row, while taking on hitting duties at the net, besides contributing to serve-receive. She showed excellent technical skills and a very smooth game. One of the most physical players on the team, she gave them a strong presence at the net. Kellam did very well with her blocking, standing out for her reading and ability to shut down opposing hitters.
