Potential Pins: Badger Region Championships

The Badger Region Championships at the Baird Center in Milwaukee showcased a high level of volleyball, with teams competing from across Wisconsin. Pin hitters played a huge role in the matches, attacking from the outside and right side while carrying a big share of their team's offense. Many stood out for their ability to swing with power, score in transition, and mix in smart shots to keep defenses off balance throughout the tournament.    Ava is an outside hitter who went up strong to attack balls and swung deep to score. Her high-level volleyball IQ really showed here, and her clean approach allowed her to hit just about anywhere, including over the block. Her confident swings and ability to score from the pin made her a strong offensive presence throughout the tournament.     Riley made an impact as an outside hitter, a go-to option for her team's offense throughout the tournament. She did a great job swinging high and attacking over the block to score from the pin. Riley handled a large number of swings while staying productive and stepped up in important moments to help generate points for her team.     Aeryn stood out as an outside hitter with the ability to score in multiple ways from the pin. She showed confidence swinging through the block and created points by hitting sharp angles that were difficult for defenders to reach. Her aggressive attacking and ability to find open space made her a consistent offensive threat to her opponents.     Stella Woodward stood out as a six-rotation outside hitter who made an impact all over the court. She showcased a fast, explosive approach at the net and was able to generate dynamic swings from the pin to keep pressure on the defense. In the back row, she played scrappy defense and consistently hustled for every ball, helping extend long rallies for her team. Stella also showed good court awareness by mixing in well-placed tips to open areas of the court, making her a well-rounded and reliable player in every situation.     Morgan stood out as a six-rotation outside hitter who made a difference in every phase of the game. She consistently showed the ability to turn the ball down the line from the pin, cover her teammates effectively, and extend rallies with smart, heads-up play. In the back row, Morgan played solid defense, digging hard and staying ready for anything coming her way. Beyond her technical skills, she brought nonstop energy and intensity, lifting her team with her effort and competitiveness on every point. Her combination of offensive skill, defensive awareness, and high stamina made her a true all-around threat on the court.
