Please welcome [player_tooltip player_id='937032' first='Nadia' last='Cobos'] to the Prep Dig Texas State Ranking List. She is currently ranked as the No. 25 overall player in the 2029 grad class. Miss Cobos is a 5'4” libero from Centennial High School who competes for MadFrog Volleyball Club. She brings a high level of defensive consistency and toughness that stands out regardless of size. Nadia reads hitters exceptionally well and positions herself early, allowing her to control the first contact and keep her team in system. Her platform is steady and efficient, and she does a great job directing passes to target even under pressure. She shows quick lateral movement and a fearless approach in the back row, never hesitating to pursue balls outside of her zone. What stands out most is her ability to stay composed in long rallies and make the next play, a trait that separates high level liberos. She plays with confidence, energy, and a competitive edge that elevates her team's defensive presence. Nadia is proving that elite back row play is about skill, instincts, and mentality.
Please welcome [player_tooltip player_id='849241' first='Dylan' last='Wilson'] to the Prep Dig Texas State Ranking List. She is currently ranked as the No. 26 overall player in the 2029 grad class. Dylan is a 6'1” middle blocker from The John Cooper School who competes for [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'] Volleyball Club.
Please welcome Miss Baldwin to the Prep Dig Texas State Ranking List. She is currently ranked as the No. 27 overall player in the 2029 grad class. Alison is a 5'11” right side from Clark High School who competes for Alamo Volleyball Club. She brings a balanced and controlled presence to the right pin with the ability to contribute in multiple phases of the game. Alison shows a smooth attacking motion and does a good job keeping the ball in front of her, allowing her to score with both power and placement. She is developing into a reliable option offensively and continues to expand her shot selection against more disciplined blocks. By utilizing her early and often in the offensive scheme, her squad this year is able to open up more one on one attempts for her teammates along the net. Because of her immense power, opposing teams have to honor her aggressiveness. She plays with a steady motor and maintains composure throughout matches, which is valuable on the right side. From a coaching lens, her consistency and all around skill set stand out as areas that will continue to grow. Alison is a player with the tools to become a dependable and impactful presence at the next level. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved recognition.
