Mindset shifted the momentum when they went on a 13–11 run, sparked by an incredibly active libero, [player_tooltip player_id='965360' first='Olivia' last='Catarello'], who seemed to cover every inch of the court. Mindset also found success at the pins, with [player_tooltip player_id='965365' first='Elyse' last='Hale'] absolutely demolishing balls and [player_tooltip player_id='965364' first='Macy' last='Nigro'] showing experienced poise with a well-placed roll shot during those chaotic out-of-system rallies.

Shock's libero, [player_tooltip player_id='966403' first='Khloe' last='Pierceall'], anchored the back row with confidence, particularly on hip-height balls that kept their offense fluid in transition.

Mindset attempted to mix it up a little in the second set, utilizing a slide by [player_tooltip player_id='965362' first='Annabel' last='Di Benedetto'] and a gap set that highlighted the evolving chemistry between their setters and middles. While Shock's fast arm swings and disciplined blocking proved too much to overcome in the opening set, Mindset's Olivia LaLonde led her squad with assertive swings to terminate the match.
