We're coming down to the wire here. Just in a few weeks teams will be duking it out in Orlando and Indianapolis looking to be crowned a national champion!

First, we have to go into the downtime of May. Every year there is one tournament to commence what I call the "regular season" of club volleyball before heading into June where we see the "post season" begin. There's no better place to be in the midwest to commence that regular season than Can Am Classic in Detroit!

This is where the picture becomes much clearer than before going into the big recruiting wave ahead. For the 17s division, many of these athletes are more than aware of where they stand and have been on the market since last June.

But in case you need some help on who's who and who's still up for grabs, take a look at the ones below to watch out for in Detroit!

[player_tooltip player_id='879321' first='Hayden' last='Fausze'] - TVC

While she's playing her ball down in Toledo, [player_tooltip player_id='879321' first='Hayden' last='Fausze'] is a Michigan product that has been really coming into her own in the latter parts of her career thus far. On the left pin, she's growing her range in shots and ball control, making for her to be an effective six rotation option for TVC. With Bedford this last fall, Fausze was a mainstay in the line up and helped stabilize an always strong offense for the Mules.

[player_tooltip player_id='459740' first='Aubrey' last='Reynolds'] - MVA

From Toledo to the west side, [player_tooltip player_id='459740' first='Aubrey' last='Reynolds'] is a player who had a breakout season this fall with Caledonia. She was the go to point producer and she was able to create these opportunities from a variety of places on the court. From anywhere along the net, from the back row, Reynolds had really cemented herself as an emerging talent. This club season has seen the breakout continue in such fashion as she has been MVA's main pieces to the puzzle.

[player_tooltip player_id='458372' first='Jeana' last='Lenhard'] - Michigan Elite

This player is a bit of surprise to still be on the market. [player_tooltip player_id='458372' first='Jeana' last='Lenhard'] has really cemented herself as a potential record holder in the state of Michigan when it comes to kills. She's one the fastest players in history to amass 1,500 kills in MHSAA history and she's well on her way to eclipsing the 2,500 mark in her final fall. With Michigan Elite, her game has only grown leaps and bounds since making the switch last season. Lenhard has a high reach and sees the block extremely well for a quick point.

[player_tooltip player_id='728696' first='Emiya' last='Franklin'] - Michigan Elite

[player_tooltip player_id='728696' first='Emiya' last='Franklin'] could very well be one of those players that become a steal in this 2027 class. She's an athlete that comes to the game with such a dynamic approach. Her vertically challenges some of the best in the game right now and her prowess as an opposite attacker has only evolved within the last few months. Franklin has become a staple for 17 Elite at Michigan Elite.

[player_tooltip player_id='947938' first='Aliyah' last='Potapenko'] - Legacy

[player_tooltip player_id='947938' first='Aliyah' last='Potapenko']

When talking about prospects that are a bit of head scratcher, this one of them. Not because she isn't good either, it's in fact the opposite. How has [player_tooltip player_id='947938' first='Aliyah' last='Potapenko'] not been snagged up by a top program yet?! At 6'3, the size at the net is a non-issue. Her physicality has always been there too and I would say, its even gotten tougher! Potapenko has a prowess at the net that rivals a lot of the elite level middles despite being on the 2s squad at Legacy. Which, again, is another head scrather.

[player_tooltip player_id='454352' first='Calli' last='LeFevre'] - Legacy

If there is any sort of kid you want on your roster at the next level, it's [player_tooltip player_id='454352' first='Calli' last='LeFevre']. Despite her prep career being riddled with injury, LeFevre has time and time again managed to come back stronger and win through it all. Despite lower limb injuries, LeFevre managed to comeback and help win two straight national championships in 15 and 16 Open. This club season has been her grand return to the courts after suffering an injury last year in the AAU Title match and she has only looked good throughout it all. This Can Am tournament will be the tournament she can be operating at full go and for you to see what she can do. Don't hesitate on this one!

[player_tooltip player_id='456516' first='Kennedy' last='Duncan'] - High Performance

Rounding out this very pin heavy look at the top uncommitted prospects at Can Am, we have none other than [player_tooltip player_id='456516' first='Kennedy' last='Duncan'] out of HP. This is another strong pin that could really elevate any program that wants it at the next level. At 5'11, Duncan brings a nice vertically alongside a heavy arm on the attack. Her ball control and defense have really come into its own as well within the last year or so which has made her out to be a real well-rounded potential.
