2025 was one of the best years we have had in Oklahoma. The hard work and determination was apparent in the amount of college commits we had this past year. We will not officially know who is in what class until early August, so we will use a few assumptions. Such as, Most schools will mimic the football ADM released this past spring and that the private school bump up rule in fact does stay in place. We are just under 120 days till opening day kicks off and games commence. That being said, lets take a look at #4, 5 and 6 for the 2026 season in class 5A and some of the players that could make an impact for their program.

#6 Lawton MacArthur Highlanders: The Highlanders have had a ton of sustained success over the past decade. They have made many trips to the state tournament in that time span and this year is looking to be no different. They went 21-13 last season that finished up at the hands of the eventual state champs, BM. They have a couple strong core players while plenty of solid support players. They will be having a new coach in 2026 that might be able to take them from good to great.

Players: They lost a few solid seniors such as [player_tooltip player_id='746899' first='Danika' last='Bridges'] and [player_tooltip player_id='839937' first='Ellana' last='Burk']. [player_tooltip player_id='737518' first='Brianni' last='Kimbro'] is a stud player and is only going to be a junior. Her ability to pass in serve receive as a 6'2 Middle Blocker is extremely impressive. She is even better at blocking and hitting. She will be a big time get for college when she graduates. Bethany Whiteeagle is ready to have a huge breakout season. She is athletic lefty who can hit and set. [player_tooltip player_id='757039' first='Kyanah' last='Taylor'] and [player_tooltip player_id='773498' first='Harlee' last='Hunter'] are players you should not sleep on.

#5 Carl Albert Titans: The Titans are the dark horse of the year. They went 22-12 on the year. They swept a good Shawnee squad in the regional finals before losing out to MSM in the first round of the state tournament. They have a extremely talented group of underclassmen. It will take some time for them to get the mix just right but I think they could definitely be ready by the time playoff time rolls around.

Players: [player_tooltip player_id='750953' first='Caitlyn' last='Mabie'] who recently committed to play at D2 SWOSU is a defensive prowess. She will anchor the defense and be the first contact for the majority of the offense. Upcoming freshman like [player_tooltip player_id='912395' first='Londyn' last='Wilson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='904397' first='Tess' last='Proper'] could add value and deepen the lineup.

#4 Bishop Kelley Comets: Bishop Kelley has been in class 6A the last few years. Easily on the Mount Rushmore of volleyball programs in the state. They have far and away the most team state titles with 19 total. Having also some of the best players ever to come through Oklahoma high school volleyball. They will be dropping back down to 5A in 2026 and will immediately become a top 5 team. New head coach, Holly Beers, has come in at just the right time to help get this storied program back on track.

Players: Players like [player_tooltip player_id='752759' first='Izzy' last='Mathers'], [player_tooltip player_id='742998' first='Sydnee' last='Jackson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='902268' first='Kennedy' last='Roecker'] are all solid players to build around. [player_tooltip player_id='919281' first='Karis' last='Pratt'] has has a phenomenal club season thus far and will look to be a huge contributor. Rumor is they have a couple solid players going to transfer in once school comes to a close. They will have plenty of pieces to put together a heck of a puzzle.
