2027 Prep Dig California Rankings Update

The wait is OVER and trust us, this one was worth it! We are absolutely fired up to bring you the latest update to the Class of 2027 Prep Dig California State Rankings List! The list has grown to 126 of the best players in the 2027 graduating class, including 15 brand new additions who are making serious noise on the court. On top of that, we've loaded up our Official Watch List with quite a few exciting new names. In total, we now have 377 California players on our scouts' radar in the class of 2027 alone and that number keeps climbing. Huge congratulations to every athlete who earned their spot. Your hard work and dedication on the court made this happen!   This is a living document, updated three to four times per year, and the conversations around who gets added, moved, or taken off are always lively. Here's how it works: you get on our watch list first. From there, our scouts go to work, comparing athletes at every position, watching in person at tournaments, high school matches, and online. Then we bring it all together and rank everyone. Keep grinding. Keep your recruiting profiles fresh so college recruiters and scouts can find you. Connect with us in person and on social media. Here's the breakdown. We stay as plugged into the California volleyball scene as humanly possible. That means talking to hundreds of club and high school coaches, club directors, and college coaches from all across the state. We study tournament entries and finishes. We dig into high school programs, preseason lists, and every award handed out through California's high school systems, coaches associations, and club organizations. We are out at tournaments watching live, and we are logging serious hours breaking down game footage and highlight reels. The more film you have out there, the better we can analyze your game and make sure your ranking reflects your true ability. We also get asked all the time… "Is it 100% accurate?" It is subjective and everyone thinks their opinion is the only valid one.  The truth of the matter is that everyone's opinions will differ. But we are putting in serious hours to get it as close as possible to accurately reflect what true volleyball coaches would value in recruiting players for the next level. With over 23 years of experience analyzing players and navigating college recruiting, we know better than anyone how hard it is to get this perfectly right. There are always multiple factors to weigh, and reasonable people can see things differently. What we can promise you is that every athlete on this list has been researched, evaluated, and ranked with real care and attention.
