It's still worth taking some time to look at some of the Watch List prospects in the Class of 2028 as there's many who will be ranked in the years ahead.

Here's a look at some of the 2028 Watch List players that have been making some waves over the school year.

[player_tooltip player_id='765791' first='Cate' last='Booms'], OH/RS Regina/Michigan Elite

Booms is a hitter that's shown she can put the ball away at either end of the net and shows a nice extra gear at the end of her swing to put some additional emphasis on her attacks. Booms makes herself long, both in her swing and blocking ability. There's a lot of potential in her play.

[player_tooltip player_id='644166' first='Ella' last='Foltz'], S Flushing/Michigan Elite

Foltz shows a well-rounded game from the setter position. She's got good technique and consistency on her sets, while also being a promising defender with a very potent serve. Foltz just finds ways to make an impact and that kind of production will take her game to another level.

[player_tooltip player_id='812998' first='Ellie' last='Goers'], MB Grand Haven/MVA

A 6'1” middle that proved she can block some of the best hitters in the state, Goers can be a big difference-maker for the Grand Haven program and at MVA. She moves well and uses her length well to be a real disruptor on defense. Her finishing rate on offense is strong as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='839828' first='Hansa' last='Gondi'], OH Novi/Legacy

There's some good building blocks in Gondi's game. She does a nice job of making something out of out-of-system balls that come her way. She shows good composure and consistency is her velocity on attacks. As she continues to develop her tempo and instincts, she can take her game to another level.

[player_tooltip player_id='845506' first='Finley' last='Grashuis'], OH/DS East Grand Rapids/OH

Grashuis has really nice swing mechanics. She powers through the ball nicely and makes it difficult to dig her balls up. She also puts a lot of work into her defensive play, which shows. Grashuis can transition into offensive/defensive mode quickly and also has a really strong serve.

[player_tooltip player_id='828260' first='Kaelyn' last='Horcha'], MH Hartland/L2

Horcha is a middle to keep an eye on in this class, as she plays longer than her 5'11” listing and she can adjust well in the middle of her attack to fool the blockers. Horcha tries to mix up attack angles and has a nice lift off the floor get over the top of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='587018' first='Sasha' last='Jackson'], DS/L West Bloomfield/Legacy

Jackson is an energy player that you can never question if she leaves it all on the floor. She's all over the court and constantly staying in ready position to make a tough dig. Jackson's gotten a lot of experience against great hitters, and she's managed to rack up the digs in quick succession through her hustle and solid form.

[player_tooltip player_id='765785' first='Kaylynn' last='Johnson'], MB/RS Clarkston/Legacy

Johnson is a hitter that has continued to make gains in her play as she gets more reps. She came through with some nice showings for Clarkston against top competition. Johnson shows good awareness of where to get the ball, but you can also see there's plenty of room for her to add to her offensive arsenal. She's a player that could be in for a breakout year.
