I shared a couple of weeks ago the increase in boys' volleyball talent now that it's a sanctioned sport in Missouri, the last couple of years. Again, I know we don't have many subscribers related to the boys' side, but when I see some ballers, I want to shout them out. Here are some players who stood out over the last week.

Peter Ensminger - RS - Park Hill South

Mr. "Ball-Up"! I don't know why it tickles me so much, but every time he serves, he holds the ball in the air and says "Ball-Up". Besides that, the long southpaw had an outstanding performance against rival Park Hill. Between hard cuts across the court and going line, he was on fire.

Stephano Aukusitino - OH/S - Park Hill South

Aukusitino isn't flashy but could arguably be the glue on this South team. His IQ is on full display during the match, from switching arms to swing on tough sets, to his own placement and direction on sets he's sending to his hitters.

Ben Edwards - OH - Northland Christian

Edwards does many things well for the Trailblazers. He is a go-to scorer on the pin, holds his own defensively in the back row, and is pretty solid in the blocking department at the net. The team is different when he's on the court, as I've seen matches with and without him.

Cole Wheeler - MB - Northland Christian

Wheeler was a force at the net last week, sending back numerous attacks from the opponents. He moves very well laterally at the net and closes on the block quickly. Offensively, he also shows flashes that he can terminate balls in front of the setter.

Noah Roubal - OH - St. Pius X

The 2029 player showed he will be an impactful player on the scene for the coming years. He is poised and is depended on a lot for the new Warriors program. He showed a good mix of shots on the outside.
