Janse Van Rensburg is a sound passer. She makes the simple passes and lunges to get to balls when needed. Janse Van Rensburg stops in her tracks then uses a fluid motion to put setters in good position in the desired two and three zones. Janse Van Rensburg makes solid solo and double blocks using great postion squared up with hitters. She also puts balls off blockers for big points. She makes crisp passes then slides into her offensive stance. Gaston has a nice vertical jump allowing her to take nice swings. Gaston even takes good swings from the back row. Gaston is sound on defense. She consistently reads hitters then stops in her tracks to make those good passes. McKamey's hustle is evident when she steps onto the court. McKamey executes both the bump and overhead pass efficiently. McKamey also provides sound net coverage. McKamey earned the District Rookie of the Year and Second Team All-District as the result of her steady play on the court. Her hitter IQ shows with her ball placement. She can hit crosses on one play then go to the one zone on the next one. Morris even squares up and lands solid back row hits. Morris mixes in nice off shots and tips to keep opponents on their feet. Morris adds in sound floaters to produce quick points. Morris is also a playmaker on defense. She's all over the floor making quality dig after dig. Bolton uses her range to square her body up to balls. Well-struck balls carom off her arms like ping pong balls to the setter between the two and three zones. Bolton is sure to have her kneepads facing the ground because she often slides after balls.
