High-Volume, High-Impact Players from Madness in Miltown

Madness in Miltwon showcased high-level talent from across the Midwest. Let's check out some high-volume, high-impact players that dominated Madness in Miltown.    Morgan was an essential piece of Madntown 18-1 National's win. She played at libero for most of the tournament; however, she also took a turn at setting. Morgan showed her versatility, leadership, and high-level volleyball IQ throughout the tournament. Morgan's communication, court coverage, and serve receive all set her apart and made a huge difference for her team. She touched the ball nearly every play, sometimes multiple times per play, and put in a huge amount of hustle to keep the ball alive.     Liberty was all of the court for I AM 16 Red. She never missed a beat and played lights-out defense as well as being a top-notch setter. She helped lead her team to a 2nd-place finish in the 18 Open Division, beating several high-level 18s teams along the way. Liberty was electric on the court and an energizer and motivator. She played fearless volleyball and never backed down from a challenge.     Sierra set a 5-1 for I AM Volleyball 16 Black. There was rarely a play when she did not touch the ball. Sierra's effort alone made some balls playable. She worked to keep all of her hitters involved and led by example. Not only was Sierra focused on her setting, but also on her all-around game. Her serving and defense were also impessive and only added to her overall impact.     Julia ran a 5-1 for 1st Alliance 14-1, who competed and placed 2nd in the 16 Club division. Julia showed great leadership, even in tough moments. I was impressed with her maturity, positivity, and high volleyball IQ. Julia wasn't afraid to take swings or tip on the second contact when she was in the front row and did a great job keeping her middles involved.     Zoey was playing lights out on the pin this weekend for Elevate. She showed her sheer athleticism and endurance. Zoey was disciplined yet scrappy and sometimes took multiple jumps in a play. She delivered time and time again in all six rotations for her team. Her shot selections were also smart and she made an impact no matter where she was on the court.     Alexandra has been a game-changer this season for Madtown. She sets and plays on the right side. What sets her apart is her court vision and ability to move the ball away from opposing blockers. She keeps the tempo quick and all of her hitters involved. Alexandra also has a very aggressive serve and is very quick on defense.     Mali brought the heat throughout the weekend, and it seemed like with every match she played, she only got better. It culminated in the championship match, where she was nearly unstoppable. Her defense and offense were lights out, and her back-row attack was a game-changer for her team. No one seemed to have an answer for Mali's explosive play.     Cora was an energizer and pin for Southwest Volleyball G16 Blue. She was an absolute gamer and really helped her team battle throughout the tournament. I was so impressed with her fearless but smart play, consistent point earning, and great defense. Cora is a name that's new to me, and she was a reliable leader in all six rotations.     Kaitlyn was the definition of a court captain. She took charge of the court and the offense, leading both vocally and through her play. Kaitlyn set and played right side, having an impact in all six rotations. She was a force on the court during the Madness in Miltown tournament.
