Both the 17-1 and 16-1 teams came back with Gold Medals while the 15-1 team fell short in 15 Division.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Clarksville 17-1 Jenny R team won it with a 5-0 run through the tournament to move to 19-9 on the season, marking the second tournament win of the season. They had to survive a three-set nailbiter against in-town rival [program_tooltip program_id='558681' first='C-Force' last='Volleyball Club'] 18U Black, 2-1 (25-13, 21-25, 15-13). The team beat the Ethos 18 Impact, 2-0 (25-23, 25-17). C-Forcxe 18 Black knocked off the Integrity Elite 18, 2-1 (29-27, 22-25, 15-11) in the Gold Bracket semifinals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Clarksville 16-1 Liz team knocked off C-Force 16 Black, 2-0 (25-19, 31-29) in a barn-burner to also finish 5-0 for the first tournament win of the season and move to 19-11 on the season. Clarksville 16-1 Liz beat Rhythm 16 Regional, 2-0 (25-9, 25-19) in the gold semifinals with C-Force 16 Black beating Clarksville 16-2 Charley, 2-0 (25-11, 25-22).</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Clarksville 15-1 Charlsie made it to the 15 Division championship game after a rough 2-1 (25-19, 22-25, 15-12) win over the Elite Athletic Academy 15 Blue team in the gold semifinals. However, the Next Gen 15 Gold team prevailed by a 2-0 (25-21, 25-11) victory. Hawkins (pictured) hits solid crosses to the shallow one zones and takes things off for sound off hits to corners and other locations on the court. Hawkins can angle balls off blocks for big points. Hawkins is also a sound passer. Taylor mixes in deceptive set-overs and delivers sound first touches. Bryant gets on top of balls to send balls flying to the ground. Bryant is especially tough on line swings. Bryant did a nice job with first touches in the back row. Bryant executes both overhead and bump passes with precision.
