Liberos Who Stole the Show at Nets Over Texas 4

The libero was tireless with her work in the back row and got many touches on the ball when playing defense. Nash was excellent at strongly exploding for the ball, getting to balls that seemed out of her zone and using that technique to dive in serve-receive when the ball hit the net or abruptly went down. Stars 18U Elite teammates returned home with a fifth-place finish, earned with two wins and two losses. The libero made a major impact for them on the back row, using her impressive mobility and superior ball control to give stability to their defensive efforts. Tobias was very reliable with her passing, covering a large portion of the court and moving quickly to the ball before making contact with it. She stood out mostly in serve-receive, showing an impressive ability to deal with powerful serves and, at the very least, keep the ballin the center of the court, keeping the offense in system. Gray also did well on defense, making the most of her positioning to touch on many balls in her zone. Her serve-receive game was very steady, and she showed great attention to detail by always getting her body in the correct shape before making contact with the ball. Baggett also stood out on defense, demonstrating excellent reflexes and ball control to perform nice one-handed digs.
