Our destination on Saturday was the [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'] Club, which hosted the Skyline Classic #12 tournament, an event that reunited 57 teams from the region in the 15s and 16s age group for a full day of matches.

Our coverage was centered on the 15 Girls Division, and we've been taking the week to highlight the players who stood out in each position. Our series about the event ends today, with the right side hitters:

Parchmont played for the NHouston Elite 15 USA team that ended the event in third place with two wins and a loss. Doubling up as a setter and right side hitter, she was a key player in their campaign, making a big impact with her strong all-around game. Parchmont was very reliable offensively, making good choices with her shot selection and consistently sending the ball into open spots. She did well in basically every skill and joined the team's serve-receive system on some rotations, showing solid ball control to deal with some tough serves that went her way.

Mensah-Bonsu was with the [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'] 15 Silver team that finished fifth with two wins and a loss. A tall and physical player, she demonstrated some serious potential when playing on the right for them. Mensah-Bonsu's blocking is already a big part of her game, as she gets off the floor very well and does a good job of adjusting her positioning and playing aggressively above the net. Her offense could use a little bit more consistency, but she has a high contact point, is capable of hitting the ball hard, and showed good awareness and vision to find solutions to put the ball down when working with inaccurate sets.

Cobb and her [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'] 15 Gray side were seventh at the Skyline Classic with a win and two losses. She was very solid offensively for her team, picking and executing her shots well, and rarely being blocked. Cobb did a good job of getting off the floor and managed to find nice angles for her swings, making it hard for opponents to stop or dig her. She also had a strong blocking presence, holding her spot on the right and creating problems for opposing pin hitters.

Rion featured for the TW Skyline 15 White team that ended up in eighth place with three losses. She used her length very well offensively, making contact with the ball at a high point and using her range to put the ball down by hitting it into open spots. Rion's offense was very consistent and reliable, and she did well when playing on the left. The right side hitter also made an impact with her blocking and was always ready to handle overpasses that went into her zone.
