Lily Day - 2027 | DS/L | Infinity 17 Green
Day was steady on day one. Seen as the primary libero for this team, she was solid in her movement to pass the ball, shuffling on balance, extending her platform away from he body, and getting her setter into good situations. Defensively, she was effective from her left-back position. She reads well and made quick moves to dig with controlled angles and to place the ball high off the net for transition time for their offense.

Madison Demmerle - 2027 | S | [program_tooltip program_id='431711' first='Boss' last='CLE'] 17-1
Demmerle has good tools as a setter. Coming in for three rotations, she brings stability to their offense with her skills and ability to locate the ball with good tempo to both pins and for her middles. Where she also stood out was on the defensive side. She read space well to be prepared for a hard driven ball while her balance and patience helped her react well to off speed shots behind the block.

Mia Jackson - 2027 | MB | HOVA 17 National
Jackson has athleticism that aides her movement in all phases on both sides of the ball. Defensively, she is quick with good efficiency laterally to get to the pins to close the block and get vertical, which resulted in some successful tandem defense to shut down the opposing attacker. On the offensive side, she closes and gets up fast and open to be able to swing at middle quick tempo options. Her scoring happened in front and behind her setter and is a useful asset when they can get her position going.

[player_tooltip player_id='816168' first='Lyla' last='Thompson'] - 2027 | MB | HOVA 17 National
Thompson is the counterpart to Jackson in the middle for HOVA. With more length, her tools provide a different look as she can create a higher contact point. At 6'1, her blocking presence is big when she is on time and able to maximize her physical tools to get up. On the offensive side, with more time in the air with a higher option for her, she made good decisions to play the ball with off speed touch into space or with an aggressive swing at the top of the block.

[player_tooltip player_id='948596' first='Abigail' last='Sharpe'] - 2027 | S | HOVA 17 National
Sharpe rounds out this trio of HOVA prospects that arrived on the radar through day one at the OVR Bid event. At 5'4, she may be one of this team's smaller players in stature but she can make a big impact as she has good athleticism to elevate her solid setting foundation. She is quick to the ball to get herself off the ground to contact, which is followed by good force behind her touch to move the ball with good location. She is also not afraid to jump set with deception in sending it over to the center of the opponent's defense.
