Top Offensive Liberos in Class of 2027

She ran the PCA offense this fall and recorded nearly 1,000 assists in the process. Yet, she excels during club season as a libero. Her communication and leadership skills aid her in being able to handle the pressure of both spots and still play at a high level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='454351' first='Mallory' last='Johnson'], Byron Center/FaR Out</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Johnson is just a great all-around athlete. A Nebraska commit for her defensive skills, she was able to step into a lead outside hitter role last fall for Byron Center and help the Bulldogs reach the state semifinals. She can do it all, including smooth back-row attacks and a potent serve.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='442977' first='Demi' last='McCoy'], Country Day/Michigan Elite</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another explosive prospect in this class, McCoy has shown she can put down some of the biggest kills in the class, yet her quickness and ability to cover space have made her a strong DS as well. McCoy has a flare for big moments and that should continue in both phases of the game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='442971' first='Brenna' last='Mirovsky'], Oxford/Michigan Elite</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another player that can be slotted anywhere and excel, Mirovsky has earned a commitment with Oakland University as a standout DS, but she's been able to run an offense as a setter, and put the ball away as an outside hitter. Paddock is another, as she's established herself as one of the best in the back row, but can move around the floor and put down a big kill. But, one underrated aspect of her play is her ability to put up a strong bump set to her hitters. She's able to get her hitters the ball in a place to unload on it, finding ways to impact the offense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='800489' first='Mackenzee' last='Stanley-Eldred'], East Grand Rapids</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another defender that has a knack for providing a smooth bump set, Stanley-Eldred's composure and smooth technique led to a lot of good things for the EGR offense this fall.
