Triple F 17-1, 18-1 Team Overviews

The two oldest age groups have produced some talented juniors.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>17-1</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Knoxville Central junior [player_tooltip player_id='804457' first='Ally' last='Bryant'] leads the way as a setter and outside hitter. Hardin Valley junior [player_tooltip player_id='966181' first='Caroline' last='Clauss'] also sets. Berean Christian Academy junior [player_tooltip player_id='791417' first='Allie' last='Snyder'], Sevier County junior Emma Lindsey and Hardin Valley sophomore Lillian Ringle serve as defensive specialists.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The team has nice balance in the middle and the outside. Kingston junior Chelsey Stephens plays middle and outside hitter with Knoxville Grace Christian Academy junior [player_tooltip player_id='817012' first='Mia' last='Crouch'] and Clinton junior Parker McGhee also playing middle blocker. The other three outside hitters are Heritage junior [player_tooltip player_id='806497' first='Mabry' last='Morris'], Clinton junior Maggie Moke and Knoxville Halls sophomore Autumn Appleby.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brienna Laskowski is the team's head coach. The team is 29-6 on the season with two tournament wins. They won the 17 Club Division in the K2 Madness Clash and the 17 Classic Division of the UA Bluegrass Tournament in Knoxville. The team plays in the 17/18 Premier Division in the UA Showdown in the Smokies in Knoxville on Saturday and Sunday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>18-1</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This team features four underclassmen. Bryant can even deliver sound hits from the back row. Bryant smokes balls to opposite side lines. Bryant is not afraid to make good in-air adjustments and deliver off shots. Bryant uses her range to make good first touches at all six spots on the court. Morris can pound balls hard from the back row and makes nice tips to shallow two zones. Morris is especially tough on on ones and gap shots. Clauss executes a variety of short and long sets. Clauss executes the back set with little lean.
