Zelinkoff Bid Tournament: 15s Division Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Rocky Mountain Region's Zelinkoff Bid Tournament brought together some of the top club teams in Colorado this past weekend (March 27-29), all battling for bids heading into the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships. Like always, ZBT delivered!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Throughout the weekend, teams showed a high level of execution on both sides of the ball. Offenses were running with tempo, defensive systems were disciplined, and team chemistry was consistent across the board. Her approach is smooth and solid, which allows her to stay efficient and composed in different situations. Bernum does a great job of seeing the court and using her length to expand her shot selection. She's effective on either pin and doesn't lose production when moved around. Fast, aggressive, and always ready to be involved, the pass does not limit what plays she runs. Her connection with the setter allows her to be a consistent offensive option regardless of pass quality. At ZBT, she stayed extremely efficient. In fact, she often takes on a heavy load in those moments. She has a heavy arm that allows her to challenge even well-formed blocks. She's aggressive in her approach but not one-dimensional in her swing. Martinez can mix in shots and make adjustments when defenses start to key in. What stood out just as much was her all-around game. In the back row, she showed discipline and awareness, positioning herself well and reacting quickly.
