15s Club Setters Trending Upward : Prep Dig Chi Town Classic

The Chi‑Town Classic has been everything you expected if not more. Small gym. Big games. Even bigger talent. Teams from across the state and neighboring regions brought an intensity that matched the temperature inside [program_tooltip program_id='432011' first='Mission' last='Volleyball'] in Marengo, Illinois. Every rally had purpose, every point carried weight, and the level of play never dipped. Leading the way was the 15s division, and at the heart of it all were the floor generals themselves. These setters controlled tempo, managed chaos, and kept their teams organized in the biggest moments. Whether in transition or running clean offense, they set the tone and elevated everyone around them.    Madison has the hustle to carry her team through any rally from front to back. She is well versed in her skill sets which makes a huge difference for her team, even more for herself because it allows her to stay on the floor and play such a key role. As a setter she is a leader on the floor, she knows her teammates and spots the ball very well. She also displayed great skills on the right side and even outside.     Sara while competing for [program_tooltip program_id='429170' first='The' last='Edge VBC'] was dynamic. Serving up aces, back to back, very sound and technical server. Truly an assisan on the line. Sara has the athleticism to move around the floor with speed and good hands and IQ, placing the ball exactly where they need to be, in that sweet spot. Even stepped up on the net for some nice attacks.     Team was short handed, which ended up being the greatest feature bonus due to the ability to see so much of her game. She played a little of everywhere on the floor. Her true spot being the floor general never took a hit because a leader she is and still willed many games passing the ball around to her hitter's knowing tired legs and all. Able to make very set and even more impressive server.     Leader, vocally, and by her play. She was hustling to positions all over the floor making sure to keep her team in action and if they were down it wasn't going to be at her hands. Or lack there of because she surely has the placement and confidence to place the ball where it needs to be. Good decision making and impressive ability tight on the net.     Wears her emotions on her sleeve, for the better of her play. All heart and grit on the floor. Showing her will to win and doing everything it takes to get the point. Solid foot speed combined with the hustle in her game, she gets under the ball to spot with good height and arc consistently.     For this 14u playing up this weekend she is looking well composed and even more mature than some of her peers in the gym. Stoned faced during the game she uses her athleticism to get into jump sets and place arc on majority of her balls timely.
