’26 Michigan Commitment Catch-Up: What’s Next? (Pt. 8)

Check it out now!</a>   --   These last few weeks have been red hot for the commitment catch up! There has been a wave of big time announcements from across the state.   From the Division 1 powerhouses to the NAIA programs, we have had it all. These announcements have made it nothing short of an exciting time to see where some of the state's most promising prospects have decided to go to next.   Next up, we are already to part 8 in thie 2026 line of commitment catch up, we have a slew of athletes taking their talents to top programs in the NAIA space as well as the NCAA. Take a look for yourself where these next five are going.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='816366' first='Madeline' last='Kozuch'] to Aquinas</h2>   5'10 OH - Morley-Stanwood/Inside Out   [player_tooltip player_id='816366' first='Madeline' last='Kozuch'] has had a breakout year for Morley Stanwood earning first team all state honors. She has taken this new found dominance on the court and have carried it over to the club scene where she found the attention of local NAIA Powerhouse, Aquinas.   As her team's leading scorer in both high school and club, Kozuch has found herself in a very heavily relied upon role. She delivers more times than not. Whether she is cranking the ball on the left pin or running transition plays in the middle and back court, Kozuch has developed a vast range of attacks that will boost Aquinas through the rankings immediately.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='443001' first='Zoe' last='Ryan'] to Albion</h2>   5'8 S - Flat Rock/Michigan Elite   Speaking of a breakout, [player_tooltip player_id='443001' first='Zoe' last='Ryan'] found herself making history this past fall with Flat Rock. From serving as the team's catalyst to their first ever championship appearance in Division 2, Ryan has only kept the momentum going. At 5'8, this is a setter that plays her game with a lot of athleticism and speed! For a team like Albion who is finding some momentum in their program, this is the perfect addition to further cement themselves as power players in Division 3.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='809922' first='Cara' last='Crittendon'] to Albion</h2>   5'10 OH/OPP - Byron Center/FaR Out   Right alongside Ryan, this is another player who has reached historic heights this year and will only beef up Albion's roster. Meet [player_tooltip player_id='809922' first='Cara' last='Crittendon'], a 5'10 PIN from Byron Center. As much as Ryan was an X factor for her squad, so was Crittendon for the bulldogs.   Bryon Center found themselves mere points away from appearing in their first ever championship match in Division 1 this fall and Crittendon's scoring prowess was a huge reason for this. With the likes of her and [player_tooltip player_id='443001' first='Zoe' last='Ryan'] coming into the fold for Albion, this creates a really strong class that can surge the Brits in the MIAA.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='458372' first='Jeana' last='Lenhard'] to Saginaw Valley State</h2>   6'1 OH - Essexville-Garber/Michigan Elite   It's always a bonus when you can keep the hometown kid. Even bigger plus when that hometown kid is as a prolific scorer as this one. [player_tooltip player_id='458372' first='Jeana' last='Lenhard'] has become one of the premier players to have ever come out of the Saginaw Valley/Bay area. For Garber, this outside hitter has done unprecedented things including eclipsing 2,000 career kills and leading the Dukes to a first ever D2 Final Four.   For SVSU, this is a huge grab for the Cardinal. A new era with Coach Lana Rybkowski as she looks to bring SVSU back to the former ways in the late 2010s. Lenhard, alongside her former teammate, Audrey Ball, is the perfect piece to get that movement going.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='454376' first='Blair' last='Russow'] to Purdue-Northwest</h2>   5'5 DS - Bedford/Legacy   From one GLIAC team to the next, Purdue Northwest has snagged their 'bro for the 2027 class in [player_tooltip player_id='454376' first='Blair' last='Russow']. This libero out of the legendary Bedford program has been cooking herself up quite the resume for the next level.
