O'Daniel has benefitted from playing with a talented Innerlight team, learning different angles and routes to put the hitters in position to succeed. O'Daniel has good hands and does not lock her elbows to maintain better control of those sets. O'Daniel is also sound on defense. Scott has outstanding court IQ mixing up powerful and off shots such as roll shots. Scott not only pounds down overpassed balls hard, but when the window (no blockers) is open. Scott also does a great job executing and also coming in off fakes that pull blockers away from teammates. She sets up well behind blocks and extends her arms to her sides to form walls around balls, yet keeps her feet aimed at the targets. Bullock anticipates well and digs up tough line shots. Bullock also handles softer shots, going to her knees if needed, yet staying under control. Bullock even picks up redirected balls well. She rises up and smacks ones and gap shots over blocks using her size and sound vertical jump. McGhee takes sound four-step approaches and uses good ball control to hit hard and off shots into open areas of the court. McGhee not only sends balls to open parts of the court on overpasses, but also attacks windows (no blockers) at the net with precision. Summers records effective setovers and does not hesitate to shove balls to corners when open.
