The 15 Liberty division has been wide open, and this group has put themselves in position by staying steady with first contact and keeping the offense moving, even when they're pushed out of system.

As the day goes on, they're settling in and finding ways to win points in tight moments. Different players have stepped up when it matters, and that balance has kept them right there. If they stay locked in and keep competing point by point, the Generals have a real shot at earning their first SLC bid.

Ila Bolden was settling in and running a clean offense. Her hands were consistent with a smooth release, and she squared well to her targets, which kept hitters in rhythm. Even when the pass drifted, she found ways to deliver a hittable ball and keep things moving. She stayed engaged defensively and read off contact well, giving her team extra opportunities. There was a calm, steady presence in how she managed the floor.~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

Tenly Newsom was playing with intent. She wasn't just setting the ball, she was making decisions that created advantages. She recognized where the block was vulnerable and went there. Her hands were quick, and she pushed tempo when needed, especially to the outside. In broken plays, she maintained posture and still delivered a ball hitters could work with. She competed on every touch. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

Alexandria Beverly showed a strong feel for placement. She consistently put the ball in spots that allowed her hitters to stay aggressive without forcing anything. Her hands stayed controlled, and she did a nice job keeping the ball off the net when passes tightened up. In transition, she moved smoothly and kept the offense flowing. She understood how to manage tempo within a rally. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

Brynlee Garn brought energy every play. She worked her feet to get balanced before contact, and it showed in the consistency of her sets. Her hands stayed strong even when extended or taking second contact from tough positions.
