Talent on the Twos Vol 2

Often enough, the spotlight stays on the top teams in a club, the teams competing in Open, winning tournaments, and battling for [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last=''] League titles. But there's a lot of talent on the second teams, too.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Many of these athletes could compete on top squads, but the “twos” often provide more opportunities for reps, development, and growth. She is one of those players I mentioned who probably benefits from playing on the two-team with reps and the opportunity to play all the way around. She is what some would consider an "undersized" pin, but her explosiveness and [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last=''] give her success on the outside. Another player who has grown their six-rotation ability by developing on the two teams. I was most impressed with her poise and play from the setter position. She has good hands and speed on her sets. She is quick off the ground in front of the setter and can hit behind on the slide. A high volleyball IQ and toughness you like to see from the one leading your team.
