Week 1 is officially in the books and week 2 is here. Today was round 2 for Claremore's summer league. As it goes with all summer league weeks, we could see new matchups as well as new mixes of kids from team to team. Lets take a look at a few teams and some of their players.

Coweta: The tigers will be young this season but filled with opportunity. They had some matchups the last two weeks that were very competitive. They will rely on Ellie Foster to be their senior setter and Kaydence Hughes at Libero to help steady the ship when waves start to rock them around. Stellar freshman [player_tooltip player_id='904386' first='Kennedy' last='Cain'] will have to shoulder a lot but she is built to handle it. Another freshman who has really done a good job is Ellie's sister, [player_tooltip player_id='904390' first='Hannah' last='Foster']. She could see herself as possibly a right side and as another setter.

Claremore: Claremore's two teams have done well in week one and two. The Zebras are the opposite, they are very Senior led and mature. That doesn't mean they don't have some good young talent in the pipe. [player_tooltip player_id='902936' first='Emersyn' last='Smith'] may only be a freshman but she already shows some real promise. Her ability to cover a ton of ground and pivot set balls is solid. Fellow freshman, [player_tooltip player_id='902933' first='Megan' last='Mosley'], has held her own against opposing varsity teams. Her ability to attack from the front row and back row this early is a sign of a huge ceiling. [player_tooltip player_id='899670' first='Addison' last='Bridges'] is a junior DS that has shown huge improvements in her passing game and turned into a reliable server. [player_tooltip player_id='809988' first='Alexis' last='Freeman'] is just a sophomore but has really turned up the heat offensively. She has been very consistent and efficient attacker.

Edison: The Eagles have a steady group of upperclassmen they will rely upon. Hitters like Jocelyn Hugghins, Juliett English, Arianna Morales, and [player_tooltip player_id='735144' first='Michaela' last='Brennan'] might just be the front row they are looking for. All have the capability to step up and make plays. Add Ellee Robertson in the mix as a setter and you got an offense that will look to win the All City tournament yet again. Multiple of these players listed were all conference selections from this past season.
