The USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship Showcase was outstanding. It was held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN and was also live streamed via BallerTV. There were tons of amazing athletes from all over the nation who were giving their all in both the positional drills and also the team scrimmages. We had each of our court coaches watch their team and select one player from each squad that embodied the core values of Avoli. There were some really athletic young ladies nominated and we could not be more proud of who was selected to win this prestigious award.

The Avoli Award does not go to the tallest player in the room. It does not go to the player with the most kills or the loudest arm swing. It goes to the player who makes everyone around her better, who competes with a standard that raises the level of every drill and every scrimmage segment she is part of. On June 24th at the Indiana Convention Center, one of the two players who earned it was [player_tooltip player_id='983007' first='Chloe' last='Harris'].

The 6'0" middle blocker from Lake Ridge in Mansfield, Texas earned her award the honest way. She showed up. She led without being asked to. She blocked, she transitioned, she communicated, and she never let a moment in the day pass without contributing something meaningful to the group around her. Court coaches who evaluated her throughout the event pointed to her net presence and her footwork in transition as technical standouts, but they just as consistently came back to the intangibles: the way she carried herself, the way she held her teammates accountable, and the way she competed with an energy that never dropped regardless of what the last play had been.

Competing with Tejas Black Luis 14 has put Harris in an environment that demands consistency and accountability, and those habits showed clearly on the showcase floor. Lake Ridge is a program with its own tradition of producing athletes who are prepared to compete at the next level, and Harris fits that profile in every way that matters. She is a 2030 middle blocker who already understands what the position demands and already understands what it means to lead. College coaches evaluating the 2030 class should be building a file on her now, because what she showed in Indianapolis was not a glimpse of potential. It was a preview of what is coming. Please help us congratulate this awesome young lady for earning this prestigious prize.
