Class of 2027 Watch List: Outside Hitters Trending Up

As the next round of Prep Dig Georgia rankings approaches, several Class of 2027 outside hitters have continued building strong cases for consideration. Whether competing against national-level opponents, helping their teams make deep tournament runs, or showing consistent growth throughout the club season, these athletes have put together bodies of work worth monitoring. This is not a ranking, but rather a watch list of players whose performances have stood out during the 2025-26 club season.    Alanna has consistently demonstrated a competitive approach whenever she steps on the court. She attacks with confidence and has shown flashes of offensive versatility throughout the season. Her willingness to compete against bigger and more experienced opponents has helped accelerate her development. As she continues gaining experience, Alanna has the potential to become an increasingly impactful player within her age group. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Bailey has quietly put together a strong season while facing some of the toughest competition on A5 Gwinnett's schedule. She possesses good size, offensive range, and the ability to create points from multiple attacking locations. Throughout the year she has shown continued growth and increasing confidence as an attacker. Bailey remains one of the more intriguing outside hitters to watch within Georgia's 2027 class. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Elise brings a well-rounded skill set to the outside hitter position and has consistently competed against quality opponents throughout the year. She contributes offensively while also providing value in serve receive and defensive situations. Her volleyball IQ and ability to make smart decisions under pressure allow her to impact matches beyond the stat sheet. Elise continues to prove she can be relied upon in a variety of situations. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Jaylee has steadily emerged as another offensive weapon within the Tsunami program. She consistently plays with confidence and has shown the ability to contribute in key moments throughout the season. Her ability to attack aggressively while continuing to improve in other phases of the game has helped elevate her overall value. Jaylee is a player whose trajectory continues to trend upward as the season progresses. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Carrington's athletic upside immediately stands out when watching her compete. Throughout the season she has demonstrated the ability to score from multiple situations while bringing energy and competitiveness to every match. Her confidence as an attacker allows her to remain effective even when facing organized defenses. Carrington's combination of physical tools and offensive potential gives her a strong foundation moving forward. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Carmen has been one of the more consistent offensive contributors in Tsunami's lineup throughout the season. She brings a strong combination of athleticism and aggressiveness to the left pin while continuing to expand her all-around game. Even against stronger competition, Carmen has shown a willingness to take big swings and shoulder offensive responsibility. As her physical game continues to develop, she remains a player worth monitoring within Georgia's 2027 class. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga    As rankings discussions begin to take shape, outside hitters often draw significant attention because of their ability to influence every phase of a match. The six athletes featured here have each shown qualities that deserve continued evaluation as the season moves toward its biggest events. With AAU Nationals and other major summer competitions approaching, they will have additional opportunities to strengthen their cases and continue climbing the watch list.
