Five Driven Performers on Day Three of USAV Nationals

Rodewald pounded out sound crosses and made a good presence at the net with her double blocks. Rodewald makes nice first contacts and puts good topspin on her serves. Bramlage has a great vertical jump and mixes in good tips over blockers in addition to her hard rips. Bramlage said she's been working on a quicker arm swing and it is paying off at the national tournament. Bramlage also paints the lines on her serves. Mcleod has a good vertical jump that forces balls high and wide, in addition to slowing them down for the back row. Mcleod takes quality swings and shoves overpassed balls to open parts of the court. Wilkinson has developed great upper body strength as displayed with her ability to win jousts. Wllkinson makes great decisions where to place balls. She takes some pop off them to land tips in the middle when the floor is wide open. Wilkinson does an outstanding job tooling blocks with her size. She is aggressive at the net extending her hands to make blocks when needed. She reads hitters well then puts up solid double and solo blocks. One can not go soft on Meyer or she'll send balls to the ground quickly. Meyer possesses a quick arm swing and solid ability to attack seams with precision.
