Five More 2030s with Tremendous Upside

Not enough can be said about the talent level coming into high schools in the Commonwealth this fall. These five put together sound club seasons and could turn into impact players in the fall for the respective high schools.    Wagner could add on to what looks to be a deep Spartans squad. Wagner takes great swings from the pins and can step in to set if needed. She tools blocks well and her mental toughness is strong. When her hitting accuracy improves, she could turn into a solid hitter for the Spartans.     McClure (pictured) made a number of good decisions running the offense for the 15-1 team in the spring. She consistently puts her teammates in great position to terminate balls. She executes a variety of short and longs lets. It may take some time for her to learn the speed at the next level, but she should be fun to watch once she gets that down.     Kaiser has the size to make a difference for the Defenders in the fall. She influences the net with her vertical jump, getting hands on balls if not outright rejecting them to help out her teammates in the back. Kaiser has good off shots. She does a sound job putting overpassed balls away from opponents. A quicker arm swing could help her take things to another level.     White steps into balls and uses a good platform trying to make sound passes. White is not afraid to dive to keep plays alive if needed. She does make a lot of the simple passes. She also does a great job backing up the net. Her ball control needs some work, but that will come in time.     Ware has developed a solid swing entering high school. She creates great spacing away from the net and gets on top of balls to put solid power into them. Ware shows her strength at the net winning jousts. Ware powers out tough crosses and mixes in good off shots. Learning cut shots to shallow parts of the court could be a good next step for Ware.
