Five Players You Have to See in Action at AAU Nationals

Every year, AAU Nationals introduces volleyball fans to new names. Some athletes stand out through highlight-reel plays, while others leave an impression because of the consistency and competitiveness they bring to the court. As teams prepare to head to Orlando, these are five players whose performances throughout the spring season have made them athletes we're especially excited to watch on one of the biggest stages in club volleyball.    Emely built a reputation this season as a player her team could depend on in important moments. She consistently provided quality ball control and helped her team remain disciplined defensively. As the level of competition increased, her reliability remained a constant. With AAU Nationals approaching, she's one of the players we're particularly interested in seeing compete against a national field. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Jocelyn's defensive effort and court awareness made her difficult to overlook throughout the spring season. She consistently worked to keep rallies alive while helping stabilize her team's backcourt. The best liberos often impact matches without needing the spotlight, and Jocelyn has repeatedly demonstrated those qualities. Her ability to influence momentum through defense could be valuable in Orlando. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Kaycie has established herself as a reliable presence in the backcourt through strong defensive play and quality ball control. She routinely takes on important serve receive responsibilities while helping keep her team organized defensively. Players in her role often become critical during long tournaments, where consistency can make the difference between advancing and going home. Her performance will be one worth following throughout Nationals. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Taylor has been one of the players who continually caught our attention throughout the season. Her ability to lead an offense and keep teammates involved helped [program_tooltip program_id='429883' first='Tsunami' last=''] remain competitive against strong opposition. Setters often influence matches in ways that don't always show up on a stat sheet, and Taylor consistently embraced that responsibility. Orlando presents a chance for her leadership and decision-making to shine on a larger stage. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Katherine has consistently found ways to impact matches through her all-around game and competitive approach. She brings offensive production from the outside hitter position while also contributing in multiple phases of play. Throughout the spring, she repeatedly showed the ability to stay involved regardless of the opponent or situation. AAU Nationals will provide another opportunity for Katherine to demonstrate the consistency that has made her stand out. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga    AAU Nationals always produces memorable performances, and many of those moments come from athletes who have steadily built confidence throughout the season. These five players have repeatedly found ways to make an impact during the spring and now head to Orlando with an opportunity to showcase their talents against some of the best competition in the country. They are certainly among the names we'll be watching closely once play begins.
