The final showed just how strong Michigan is in the Class of 2029, with talent from all around the state competing for the top prize.

This Legacy group just keeps rolling, as it won the 2025 title in the 14 Open as well, coached by Ricky and Jennifer Cottrill.

[player_tooltip player_id='587564' first='Lexi' last='Coleman'] has already established herself as one of the very best in the country in this class and that certainly didn't change last week. She was the dominant force on the outside to come through with that crucial kill anytime Legacy needed it.

[player_tooltip player_id='741882' first='Georgia' last='Addleman'] was a great complement on the right side, making for a dynamic 1-2 punch throughout the tournament. [player_tooltip player_id='709559' first='Kaelyn' last='Easton'] also has put herself in an elite class as one of the best setters in the nation. She continued to hit all the key spots and play with tremendous poise while leading Legacy to another title.

She did a great job of finding big moments for other hitters as well, including middles [player_tooltip player_id='885468' first='Saniya' last='Tucker'], [player_tooltip player_id='768151' first='Emily' last='Nwabueze'], and [player_tooltip player_id='885464' first='Charlotte' last='Keyes'], as well as outsides [player_tooltip player_id='885455' first='Kate' last='Berghoff'] and [player_tooltip player_id='885461' first='Riley' last='Harrah'].

All the offense couldn't have run so smoothly without the play of libero [player_tooltip player_id='757121' first='Stella' last='Smith'] and DS [player_tooltip player_id='788886' first='Bristol' last='Davenport']. Smith continued to show why she's a top defensive prospect in this class. Her effort and determination can't be matched, but it all leads to very consistent play against the country's best hitters.

FaR Out 15 Black went 11-1 on the weekend, falling just to Legacy, to finish runner-up. FaR Out won a total of five matches that went to a third set, showing how much resiliency this roster has.

[player_tooltip player_id='776808' first='Brynn' last='Johnson'] has made a name for herself, similar to Coleman, and she continued to shine on the biggest stage. There wasn't a place on the court she couldn't put the ball with deadly speed.

[player_tooltip player_id='782946' first='Catie' last='Jilek'] also let the rest of the country know how big of a setting prospect she is in this class. The 6-footer looked nearly flawless all weekend while getting great swings out of her team.

FaR Out also features [player_tooltip player_id='888958' first='Ellery' last='Bieneman'], [player_tooltip player_id='782164' first='Isabelle' last='Brown'], [player_tooltip player_id='888956' first='Maddie' last='Hirdes'], [player_tooltip player_id='777145' first='Andersyn' last='King'], Syndey Manning, [player_tooltip player_id='888953' first='Kennedy' last='Thomas'], [player_tooltip player_id='888951' first='Piper' last='Vugteveen'], and [player_tooltip player_id='888949' first='Haylee' last='Winczewski']. They are coached by Michele Lurye.
