Opposites Attract pt 3: Right Side Edition

<p>Part three of the trilogy of Right sides to see in Indy, this coming national tournament. Right side love is necessary, it takes a special kind of defensive commitment to play on the opposite side. We've covered the classes of '27 and '28 so it's only right '29 gets their spotlight before heading into pool play. So let's recognize, right side queens that have made a difference in 15u division. A dynamic lefty that brings energy to the game every time she steps on the court. A true threat offensively, that can swing to score the deep corners consistently. Taylor's energy and hustle ensure that she is going to work hard and play big for her team every point. The play she brings to the court has no doubt been a factor in her team's success this season.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='846968' first='Tenley' last='Walters'], Right side hitter for Skyline 15 Royal David with nothing but big play to offer the game. When the game is on, she brings a big approach, followed by a strong swing. She disrupts the defense and keeps opponents on their toes, keeping her team out in front. Defensively, Tenley remains a great threat. Setting a solid block on opposing hitters making easy points next to impossible. She makes her swing count and protects her defense, a sure sign of a player that will make things happen at nationals. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='849695' first='Lexi' last='Caprio'], Right side hitter for [program_tooltip program_id='475085' first='1United' last=''] 15 N Blue. A strong and confident player that brings an impressive lefty swing to the game for her team. Her training and athleticism fuel her confidence in her ability to score, and ensures her team to play behind her. At any moment she is ready to swing and will make it count. Lexi plays big and hustles to keep the rally going. Whether it's a swing, a block, or saving a chaos ball, she is ready to do what it takes to keep her team ahead. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">LS '29 Right Sides</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Geralynn Byer-Veal, big time right side hitter for AJV 15 adidas. She plays hard and aggressive every point, sticking to her fundamentals and doing the little things right. On both sides of the ball Geralynn uses swift and efficient footwork to set the block or get around the ball. Along with her evident training, she shows off her strength in every swing, as her intent is always for the kill. Her quick and sound play cause trouble for defenses, and keeps the high tempo flowing for her team.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='952576' first='Emily' last='Peltier'], Right side hitter for HJV 15 elite, brings a surprise to the court. She can jump, she can swing, she can play! Along with her natural athletic abilities, Emily plays with composure and discipline at the net. Taking the time to read the ball and hitter before exploding into an effective block and doing the same in her approach. Simply put, she makes the play count. No steps or positioning are unnecessary when Emily is on the court.
