Here's a look at some of the setters that will be leading the way during the Showcase.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Club team listed from 2026 season</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1009141' first='Averie' last='Bernia'], Rochester/Legacy: </strong>Bernia has a good foundation for her setting skills. She's showing a lot of consistency in her placement and touch. This Showcase will allow her to push a fast pace and test her aggressiveness.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='922119' first='Reese' last='Berryman'], Marian/Michigan Elite: </strong>Berryman shows a diverse set of skills at the setter position. She mixes up her delivery and isn't afraid to take some chances. She's also got a really strong serve to complement her setting.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='995250' first='Reagan' last='Darga'], Hartland/Legacy: </strong>The ball comes off of Darga's hands effortlessly, as she's able to put some nice lift in the ball without much mechanics. She shows promising footwork and good communication.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1007121' first='Brielle' last='Eveland'], Lowell/FaR Out: </strong>Eveland plays with a lot of maturity and leadership and that has propelled her to being one of the shining setters in this class thus far. Eveland shows good instincts and doesn't overthink her decisions.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='958515' first='Molly' last='Hickey'], Marian/Legacy: </strong>Hickey was one of two setters on the Legacy 14-1 ADIDAS squad that won two national titles. She makes a lot of advanced plays and doesn't hesitate when having to make a difficult set, making it look rather easy. She's definitely going to bring the best out of the hitters on Sunday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='965813' first='Addison' last='Hills'], Midland Dow/Michigan Elite: </strong>A setter/hitter combo, Hills is a left-handed player that has a high ceiling. She can transition well from offense to defense and has a well-rounded game through playing multiple positions.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1007547' first='Amelia' last='Kurtz'], Milford/Legacy: </strong>The other setter for the Legacy 14-1 ADIDAS roster, Kurtz is a great communicator and does a great job of mixing up the offense to keep things unpredictable for the defense. She can hit all her locations and seems a step ahead of the opposition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Lily James Mahalak, Oxford/High Performance: </strong>Mahalak brings a lot of energy and effort to the court. She keeps herself on the move and is able to come through with some difficult defensive plays along with some clean sets.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1007247' first='Charlotte' last='Stephan'], Lutheran High/Unified: </strong>Stephan is another energy player that shows a lot of dedication and commitment to keep improving at setter. She shows steady accuracy and keeps pushing herself to add new details to her game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1009481' first='Kenley' last='Witteveen'], Hart/Inside Out: </strong>Witteveen shows a lot of promise, as she's got good touch on the ball and produces some high-quality swings out of her hitters. As she keeps getting reps and adding to her speed of play, she can take her game to another level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
