Here's a look at some of the libero prospects that will be on hand this Sunday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>(Clubs listed by where they played in 2026)</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='782164' first='Isabelle' last='Brown'], Cadillac/FaR Out (2029)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brown is a player that has shown she can do it all and do it at a high level. She excels as an outside during the high school season, but is an elite-level defender nationally in the Class of 2029. Brown will display a work ethic and skillset that should motivate anyone playing alongside her.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='775516' first='Elizabeth' last='Burke'], Wixom St. Catherine/Michigan Elite (2029)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Burke plays with a lot of composure and consistency in the back row. She's able to adjust her position to get her arms in good form to make clean feeds to the setter. Burke also stays light on her feet and stays on the move to not get caught flat-footed.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='725986' first='Skyla' last='Chinoy'], Walled Lake Western/Team Detroit (2029)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Chinoy looks in control while wearing the libero jersey. She keeps herself on the move, but knows where she needs to get in order to dig up a big attack. Chinoy can make late adjustments to still pass at a high rate.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='788886' first='Bristol' last='Davenport'], Southgate Anderson/Legacy (2029)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another great all-around athlete that is an elite defender on the club level, Davenport looks comfortable in any role she's given. She's got the agility and mechanics to succeed in all phases of the game, while showing the focus to be one of the top defenders in the class.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='849359' first='Anna' last='McBride'], Country Day/L2 (2029)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McBride can get low to the ground and does a good job of squaring up to the ball in order to make some tough digs. She's already been tested against a lot of great hitters, so she shouldn't be lacking in any confidence for this Showcase.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='778631' first='Breanna' last='McMahon'], South Lyon East/L2 (2029)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McMahon has shown the ability to make some incredible sprawls and dives to dig up a ball just before it hits the floor. She times out her movements well and never gives up on a ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='709804' first='McKenzie' last='Reid'], Lake Orion/High Performance (2028)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Reid shows a lot of good communication and determination as a libero. She directs traffic well on defense, while being relentless in her pursuit of the ball. Reid has been one of the underrated defenders in the Class of 2028.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='847397' first='Bridget' last='Wiggins'], Sacred Heart/Mid-Michigan Aces (2028)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wiggins is one of the top defenders in Northern Michigan and has been a major bright spot in Division 4. This even will be a great event to show she can compete on any level against top hitters around the state. She's got smooth form and plays with a lot of consistency in the back row.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
