Here's a look at some of the outsides that have made a name for themselves that will be in attendance on Sunday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>(Clubs listed by where they played in 2026)</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='741882' first='Georgia' last='Addleman'], Parma Western/Legacy (2029)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A 6'1” lefty with an aggressive follow through, Addleman is hard to contain at the net, and can be one of the most dominant right sides in the state as she keeps adding to her game. Her swing is something to see and it will be exciting to see it up against other top outsides.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='888384' first='Allysse' last='Deshetsky'], North Branch (2029)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Deshetsky is the latest from a very talented family of outsides hitters in North Branch. She's got all the potential to be among the great six-rotation outsides in this class. Deshetsky has a lot of good defensive instincts and the drive to be great offensively. Not many will be able to outwork her.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='720520' first='Alexis' last='Donovan'], OLSM/High Performance (2028)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Donovan's got a technically smooth swing with the ability to get a lot of reach above the net. Donovan places the ball well all over the floor and can still dial up a mean fastball when she's got a clean look.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='728850' first='Emme' last='Dorchy'], Royal Oak/Michigan Elite (2028)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dorchy has shown the ability to play anywhere along the net and deliver some highlight-reel kills. She's got a lot of power and isn't afraid to turn up the aggression level. It will be good to see Dorchy battling against this talented crop of outsides.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='858244' first='Cornelia' last='Friedrich'], Country Day/Michigan Elite (2029)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another talented left-handed hitter, Friedrich plays with good composure and doesn't try to force an aggressive swing when it's not there. She plays within herself, but keeps building on her speed of play to take her overall game to another level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='885461' first='Riley' last='Harrah'], Tecumseh/Legacy (2029)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Harrah has shown she can take on a big workload and not miss a beat. She's got a quick swing that generates a lot of power. Harrah mixes up her attack angles well and isn't afraid to test the boundaries. Her finishes provide a lot of energy to the rest of the team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='776808' first='Brynn' last='Johnson'], Marshall/FaR Out (2029)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Johnson is definitely a player that others can measure themselves up to. She's shown the ability to dominate no matter the competition level she's been up against and is only getting better. Johnson should be one of the prospects that sets the bar for the Showcase.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='775991' first='Sydney' last='Manning'], BC Lakeview/FaR Out (2029)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Manning displays a great all-around game. She's got the explosiveness to be a dominant finisher at the net, but also brings a lot of defensive skills and instincts to the floor. Manning will be a player that helps push the pace of play on Sunday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='888953' first='Kennedy' last='Thomas'], East Lansing/FaR Out (2029)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Thomas has the potential to be one of the breakout stars of this Showcase and really put her name on the map. She had a big freshman year and leveled up her game with FaR Out this club season. A long and athletic right side that can also play the middle, Thomas is someone that can definitely hold her own at the net.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='888951' first='Piper' last='Vugteveen'], Hudsonville/FaR Out (2029)</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Vugteveen is an outside that can play anywhere along the net and has limitless potential. The 6'1” hitter gets big air off the floor and smooth swing mechanics that leads to some emphatic kills. She's going to be pushing to be among the most powerful attackers this weekend.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
