The Class of 2028 is entering the point where projection must be supported by production. Athletic potential remains important, but players are beginning to separate themselves through consistency, decision-making and a clearer understanding of their roles. These six prospects provide an exciting mix of attacking range, setting, backcourt control and lineup versatility as Georgia's rankings continue to evolve.

Kate is a Class of 2028 setter from Lovett who competes with [program_tooltip program_id='429883' first='Tsunami' last=''] North 16-1 Elite. She brings an organized approach to the position and understands the importance of keeping hitters connected throughout a match. Kate's development will be measured by more than assist totals; her ability to vary tempo, recognize favorable matchups and stabilize imperfect passes will determine how quickly she rises. Setters who consistently improve the players around them are difficult to overlook, and Kate has an opportunity to establish herself within that group. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

Estelle is a 5-foot-10 Class of 2028 right-side and outside hitter from Midtown who competes with [program_tooltip program_id='429883' first='Tsunami' last='']. Her ability to attack from either pin gives coaches flexibility and forces opposing defenses to account for her in more than one location. Estelle plays with good length at the net, remains assertive when sets move off the tape and has already shown that she can handle meaningful offensive responsibility. Her positional versatility gives her a strong chance to keep climbing as her consistency improves. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

Summer is a Class of 2028 outside hitter competing with [program_tooltip program_id='429883' first='Tsunami' last='']. She approaches the position with the expectation of being involved rather than disappearing when the offense moves away from her. Summer remains available in transition, works to create hittable windows and competes through extended sequences without losing her attacking intent. The next step is turning that steady involvement into increasingly efficient point production against more disciplined blocks. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

Avani is a Class of 2028 defensive specialist and libero from Carrollton who competes with [program_tooltip program_id='429883' first='Tsunami' last='']. She recorded 332 digs and 49 aces during the 2025 high school season, providing measurable evidence of her influence in both serve receive and from the service line. Avani plays with the court awareness to cover space early and the confidence to remain composed when targeted repeatedly. Her combination of defensive volume and serving pressure gives her one of the clearest ranking arguments in this group. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

Madelyn is a Class of 2028 outside hitter competing with [program_tooltip program_id='429883' first='Tsunami' last='']. She gives her team a pin who remains available as rallies shift from clean offense into transition volleyball. Madelyn does not need a perfect set to stay involved, and her willingness to adjust creates scoring opportunities from situations that could otherwise become free balls. Continued growth in her shot selection could make her an increasingly complete offensive option. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

The most exciting part of evaluating the 2028 class is that many of these players are still expanding what they can offer. Madelyn, Avani, Avery, Summer, Estelle and Kate already have identifiable strengths, but their ranking ceilings will be determined by how effectively they build around them. As their roles grow, so should the attention surrounding their names.
