Fresh Faces to Know: Six Newcomers to Georgia's 2029 Rankings

Every rankings update introduces new names, but this year's Class of 2029 update added another layer of depth across Georgia. These athletes have earned their place among the state's Top 100 through strong club performances and continued development, and they'll now have the opportunity to prove they belong as high school careers begin.    Jenna joins the rankings as another athlete bringing valuable depth to the right side position. She has the opportunity to continue developing into a reliable front-row contributor capable of impacting matches both offensively and defensively. Right-side hitters who combine blocking, transition offense and consistent decision-making become increasingly valuable as competition improves. Jenna's addition gives the class another promising player to watch moving forward. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Payton enters the rankings as a setter capable of bringing balance and organization to an offense. She continues developing the communication, leadership and decision-making that define successful floor generals while learning to keep multiple attackers involved. Setters often experience some of their biggest growth early in their high school careers, and Payton has an excellent opportunity to build upon an already solid foundation. Her debut gives Georgia another promising young playmaker to follow. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Stella gives M2 another representative among Georgia's newest ranked athletes. She brings the athletic profile coaches like to see on the pin while continuing to refine the all-around responsibilities that come with the outside hitter position. As she gains additional experience and confidence, her offensive game should continue expanding. Stella's addition reflects both her current progress and the potential still ahead. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Emmy joins the rankings after showing encouraging potential as a developing outside hitter. She continues building the complete skill set required to succeed in every rotation while growing into a larger offensive role. Outside hitters who embrace responsibilities beyond attacking often develop into dependable six-rotation players, and Emmy has the foundation to continue moving in that direction. Her debut is an exciting first step in what could become a steady climb. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Mallory enters the rankings as one of the more versatile front-row additions in the Class of 2029. Comfortable contributing both on the outside and through the middle, she gives coaches lineup flexibility while continuing to develop offensively. Her ability to impact multiple front-row roles creates opportunities that many young players are still working toward. As her game continues to mature, that versatility could become one of her greatest strengths. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga     Jillian rounds out this group as another exciting newcomer entering Georgia's Top 100. She brings size and front-row potential while continuing to refine the complete skill set required of today's right-side attackers. As she gains more varsity experience and confidence against stronger competition, her ability to influence both blocking and offense should continue growing.
