They remained constant throughout the entire showcase, creating an environment where everyone around her played with more excited belief.   That same mindset carried into her work as a setter. Mcleod displayed a mature understanding of how to create opportunities for every hitter on the floor. Instead of delievering predictable balls, she tailored each set to fit the strengths and timing of her attackers. Her tempo remained controlled, her decision-making stayed composed, and her ability to connect with multiple offensive options allowed rallies to unfold naturally. Mcleod embraced every defensive responsibility with urgency, reading the game efficiently before turning quality defensive contacts into immediate scoring opportunities. A serve that consistently traveled with purpose challenged passers from the first contact, while her willingness to compete for every ball reflected the determination coaches value at every level. The effort never faded, regardless of the drill or score.   Those qualities mirror exactly how Mcleod describes herself. "Relentless work ethic best describes me. I am always looking for ways to improve, whether it's extra reps in the gym, lessons, studying the game, and finding small details that make me a better player."   That mindset became obvious throughout the day. Every rep carried intention. Every coaching point became another opportunity to grow. Rather than settling for success, she consistently searched for ways to sharpen the next touch, the next read, and the next decision.   Her journey has not always been easy. Transitioning from hitter to setter requited learning an entirely different position while developing a deeper understanding of volleyball's mental side. Instead of resisting the challenge, Mcleod embraced it. "It pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me patience." That willingness to embrace discomfort continues to fuel her development and explains why her growth as a floor leader continues to accelerate. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of McLeod's performance was the way she viewed success. Individual recognition has never been the priority. Making those around ehr better remains at the center of everything she does.   "I focus on encouraging my teammates, communicating positively, and staying supportive no matter if we are winning or losing."   Those words were easy to believe after watching her throughout the showcase. Whether celebrating a great play or helping reset after a mistake, her actions consistently reflected genuine investment in her teammates. That perspective began long before the Stock Up Showcase. Mcleod credits her father, Jonathan, as the greatest influence on her volleyball career. His lessons about consistency as a setter while leading an efficient offense. Away from competition, maintaining strong academic performance remains equally important.
