Brynn Kezbers – S/OPP, Oklahoma Charge (Central)

Brynn has shown good athleticism from the setter position, giving her the opportunity to provide some offense while staying in to hit on the front row. She has a quick approach and quick arm-swing, which helps make up for her lack of height when attacking the ball. She uses her speed to chase down errant passes, and strong hands to keep her team in a position to attack the ball- even when they are out of system. She has an aggressive style with everything she does- and her serve is no different. She was able to que up several scoring runs during the scrimmages using her tough jump float serve.

Sarai Freeman – MB, Dreamcatchers

Sarai has really excelled as a blocker all week. She moves really smoothly, up and down the net with excellent footwork. Even if the opponents middle draws her one way, she has shown the ability all week to recover back the other direction and close the block. She does a good job of sealing the net and finding the ball with her hands, ensuring that the ball ends up on the floor when she gets a solid touch. In the rotations she shares with Nora, the opposing hitters had a very tough time simply getting the ball across the net.

Harper Helms – OH, Oklahoma Peak

Harper brings a well-rounded skillset you need from the outside hitter position. Her serve receive and defensive capabilities have kept her playing 6 rotations throughout the first camp. Over the course of the 3 days of the first camp, you could see her getting more and more comfortable taking big swings from the outside. She's been really successful at tooling off the block- which came in handy as her team has been scrimmaging against the U17 Girls all week. Harper also brings a tough float serve; generating aces and routinely keeping her opponents out of system.

Aria Foster – DS/L, Oklahoma Peak

While most of the choices for positions are pretty straightforward, with a roster of only 10, the battle for the libero jersey will be exciting to watch. Aria has excelled in serve receive through all 3 days of the camp- putting her in a great position to compete for the job. You could see her getting more and more comfortable in defense as the camp progressed as well- as she got a better understanding of the defensive system. She shows an ability to read and see the game at a high level- especially from the middle back position, coming up with several huge digs in the scrimmages. She also spent a little time working as an outside hitter this week- and that flexibility could come in handy at the tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='996187' first='Aylie' last='Jensen'] – OH, Virago

A bit of a wild card, with a ton of upside, Aylie brings a level of athleticism that is tough to match at this age group. There were times in the scrimmages where she was unstoppable on the outside- elevating and hammering the ball over, around, and through the block. Having played just one year of club ball, she's still learning the ins and outs of both the offensive and defensive systems, but if she's able to consistently play at her peak- she will be a huge offensive weapon for this team.
