Minnesota 3AA: Players to Know Heading into the Prep Season

Whether they are attacking from the pins, running the offense, or stepping into bigger roles from last year, these athletes will have a big say in how their teams perform this fall. Some are already well known names in the section, while others are newer to us. Her athleticism allows her to track down balls that many players can't reach, and she has a knack for turning difficult situations into points. She does well when on the move, can run routes, and creates matchup problems for defenses. Her willingness to stay aggressive, combined with her ability to score nearly anywhere on the court, makes her a dangerous offensive weapon. Last season, she dished out 831 assists while adding 176 digs to help her team. Boelter plays with excellent court awareness, makes smart decisions, and consistently puts her hitters in positions to succeed. Last season, she piled up 644 assists and added 231 digs while running the court for Redwood Valley. She has a great feel for the game, makes smart decisions, and puts her hitters in positions where they can be successful. A versatile player, she split time between setter and right side last season, using her high volleyball IQ, court awareness, and all around skill set to help lead Windom Area to a 22-8 season.
