Player Lens: Colorado Middles, Class of 2029

She gets off the floor quickly, reaches high over the net, and creates difficult angles for opposing blockers to defend. Additionally, she stays active in transition and works hard to stay available for her setter, even during extended rallies. On the defensive side, Gibbs closes seams well and takes away space at the net. She attacks with a quick, bouncy approach that allows her setter to trust she will be available every time. Furthermore, her fast arm creates pressure before opposing blockers can get fully established. Although she is undersized for the position, Hagans plays much bigger than her height. Furthermore, she sees the game well and makes smart decisions once the ball is in her hands.
