The Top Liberos at Houston Stock Up Showcase

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Coming from a remarkable first stop in Dallas one week ago, the Prep Dig Showcase series landed in Houston this weekend, marking the event's second stop in the Lone Star State this summer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Saturday, over 100 prospects from the Houston area and beyond reunited for two hours of fast-paced and exciting action during our Stock Up Showcase at the <a href="https://prepdig.com/program/tav-houston/"><strong>[program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston']</strong></a>&nbsp;facility in Spring. The libero was a true back-row leader every time she was in, maintaining excellent communication with her teammates and setting the tone with her efficient game. Beltran showed some interesting versatility when playing defense, performing at a high level both in the middle back and the left back positions. While her impressive quickness helped her get to shots and tips, her solid ball control allowed her to deal with hard-driven swings. She made the most of her unusual length for a libero to cover a large portion of the back row and was always on top of things when playing defense. Archie seemed to always be in the center of the action and performed many digs in the different drills she was involved. She's wide beyond her years, and her game is extremely mature, and that reflects in her calm and confident attitude on the court. Mudd was a stud in serve-receive, covering a large portion of the court and handling some tough serves with a very high efficiency rate. Her superior ball control also appeared on defense, as she was very precise when digging off-pace swings and did a great job of keeping the most powerful ones off the floor. The libero also has what it takes to make an impact from the service line with her aggressive, well-placed floaters.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
