2027 Rankings Update: Top Middle Hitters

She's got great explosiveness off the floor and will be very disruptive wherever she's playing.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='490373' first='Kate' last='Colosky'], Portage Central/FaR Out: </strong>A Long Beach State commit, Colosky has great footwork and timing at the net, both with her attacks and her blocking. She's got the ability to play anywhere on the floor and succeed, but it most potent as a middle.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='464378' first='Ava' last='Bush-Nelson'], Jenison/FaR Out: </strong>Bush-Nelson is a Bowling Green commit that uses her length well. She can get down over the top of the ball and produce nearly unstoppable attack angles.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='442999' first='Olivia' last='Berishaj'], Eisenower/Legacy: </strong>Berishaj is another hitter that has big power and has used it on the pin or in the middle. The Hillsdale commit has been able to produce some of the biggest kills in the country on a consistent basis.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='897539' first='Haley' last='Armock'], Rockford/MVA: </strong>An Akron commit, Armock has raised her stock in recent years. She's got a lot of spring off the floor and can make all the shots you need a middle to make.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Others to Watch</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='827359' first='Megan' last='Glass'], Hudsonville/Impact: </strong>Glass was one of the best finishers in the state last fall, hitting over .450. The Aquinas commit has the eyes of many to see what she can do in her senior year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='442973' first='Brooklyn' last='Rummler'], Stoney Creek/Legacy: </strong>A Florida International commit, the 6'2” Rummler has all the tools to be a dominant middle. She can be a very disruptive blockers, while displaying the vertical to play above blockers when on the attack.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='490033' first='Christina' last='Rosenow'], Romeo/Michigan Elite: </strong>Rosenow makes a lot of highly explosive plays look rather effortless. She's a hitter that can really get on a roll and take over a match when she finds her groove.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='442228' first='Avery' last='Thorp'], Plainwell/MVA: </strong>A Grand Valley State commit, Thorp is proving she can hang with any of the top middles in this class. At 6'2”, she's got great length, but her smooth swing is something to see.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='947938' first='Aliyah' last='Potapenko'], Country Day/Michigan Elite: </strong>Potapenko can bring the thunder, and she plays with a lot of intensity.
